He studied engraving in the SESC-TIJUCA Workshop with the visual artist, Heloisa Pires Ferreira, and has participated in collective exhibitions since 1988. Liége Nascimento currently develops his work in the printmaking workshop of Carlos Oswald at the School of Arts & Crafts in Rio de Janeiro.
