Born in Denmark in 1965, Ann-Kerstina Nielsen is an award winning graphic artist that is mostly self-taught, having also trained with Jøregen Rosengaard at the Svendborg, Kunstskole from 1996–98. Exhibiting her work since 1997, she is currently President of SAK´s Grafiske Kælder [Graphic Cellar] in Svendborg, Denmark. She is also an active member of several additional graphic artist groups, collectives, and associations, including: Billedkunstnernes Forbund [BKF - The Danish Association of Visual Artists] in Copenhagen; Bank of International Artmoney [BIAM] of Copenhagen; RIIMFAXE in Funen, Denmark; & Fyns grafiske værksted [Fyns Graphic Workshop] in Odense, Denmark.
