Born in 1947, in Lomas de Zamora, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mauricio Schvarzman studied at the ‘Manuel Belgrano’ y ‘Prilidiano Pueyrredón’ Escuelas Nacionales de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires, and then teaching as a professor of Drawing & Engraving there during the 1970’s. Additionally, he has been awarded over 40 Solo Exhibitions, Prizes, Diplomas, & Mentions, in national art venues, as well as in international venues of Europe, Asia, and throughout the Americas, including a ‘Nomination’ award at ‘XXXII FISAE Beijing 2008’, the 32nd International Exlibris Biennial Exhibition, in Beijing, China.
