The Americas Biennial Exhibition Opens at The University of Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The 2008 edition of The Americas Biennial Exhibition will open at The University of Iowa's Project Art Gallery on September 1, 2008. Selected from approximately 1300 entries in 2008, The Americas Biennial Exhibition is currently exhibiting an international survey of contemporary miniature & small prints showcasing 79 works of 70 exhibiting artists, which represent 36 nations. Following its stay at The University of Iowa, it becomes a traveling exhibition for a period of up to two years, with additional venues remaining to be scheduled.
