The Iowa Biennial Exhibition
Opens at The University of Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The 2006 edition of The Iowa Biennial Exhibition will open at The University of Iowa's Project Art Gallery on August 1, 2006. Selected from approximately 1300 entries in 2006, The Iowa Biennial Exhibition is currently exhibiting an international survey of contemporary miniature prints showcasing 68 works of 66 exhibiting artists, which represent 24 nations. Following its stay at The University of Iowa, it becomes a traveling exhibition for a period of up to two years, with additional venues to be scheduled.
